It’s a safe bet that you, the reader of this article, have some degree of interest in, or an ambition to, travel. Travel is a nearly universal interest, and for good reason. We human beings have an innate, instinctual need to explore, and in today’s world, there’s no “need” to explore. We’re all part of a global community, and just about everything has been discovered. There’s simply no uncharted territory left, and yet the urge to explore remains. And, so, we have recreational travel to fill the exploration shaped hole in our hearts.

However, we can’t all afford to travel, or we may not feel safe going away for awhile. After all, we have to work for a living. Others, still, may feel intimidated when they think of being a fish out of water, so to speak, and that’s understandable. For one reason or another, many people have to, or feel like they have to, go through life without experiencing this great pastime.

For those of lucky enough to get away for awhile, however, travel can be an enlightening experience, not just a fun activity. Traveling the globe gives us a chance to experience foreign cultures and cuisine, something we would ordinarily only hear or read about. We can see the greatest accomplishments of mankind, such as the Pyramids of Giza, or the Great Wall of China; we can see awe inspiring natural wonders, as well.

So, what are you waiting for? If you can’t afford to take a trip, start saving. If you feel intimidated, take a public speaking class. Whatever your reason for foregoing this wondrous activity, remedy that, because no one deserves to go through life without seeing the world. If you can travel, however, you have only to find the right time and make the decision, so why not book a room with Extended Stay America today?
